We travelled to the lovely village of Sutton Bonnington to be met by an out-dated 1960’s bungalow looking out of place in the scenery around. Our client had contacted us in need of a full remodelling of the dated bungalow as well as the addition of an extension.
Sutton Bonnington is a sought after area where properties are rarely up for sale, so our customer saw an opportunity and went for it. Giving us a basic guideline of what they wanted we devised a design. They required a large family home with a contemporary design and an open plan living environment. We were given a blank canvas with endless choices of design and structure.
We completely gutted the existing bungalow, extended the building to the side and rear to create more space. We then removed the roof and replaced it with a set of attic trusses to form a loft conversion. This conversion incorporated 2 large additional bedrooms, both having en-suite bathrooms.
After hard work and endless choices, we finally finished the building completely transforming the out-dated bungalow into a modern, contemporary family home. The whole transformation only took 11 months, we left Sutton Bonnington looking at a completely different house.
